Fall Road Trip with Erie Insurance

This post was sponsored by Erie Insurance as part of an Influencer Activation and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

These last few months have given our family so many more opportunities to spend time together as a family and take fun family day trips before baby girl makes her debut. We’ve been going to local farms for pumpkin and apple picking, lake trips with family, and just about any other outdoor activities we can find in our area. With all of these day trips planned, and preparing for baby girl, my family’s safety is my absolute number one priority.

Over the past year, Ben and I decided to upgrade our vehicle to the 2020 Subaru Forester to keep our family safer on the road. With amazing safety ratings and features such as lane keep assist, blind-spot detection, and automatic emergency braking, I feel so much more comfortable taking my family on all of life’s adventures. Erie Insurance recently commissioned a national survey to draw attention to the safety features available in today’s cars and found some drivers disable the features. They care about the safety of their customers and all drivers, and encourages us to get to know our cars and get comfortable with the new safety features because using them will become second nature. Like seatbelts, these safety features could be major in terms of saving lives and reducing crashes.

This past weekend we decided to take Aimery on a surprise day trip to Lake Tobias, which is a super family-friendly Wildlife Safari near our area. We packed up our Subaru Forester and drove about an hour to Lake Tobias to visit their walk through and drive through experiences. Our Subaru did so well during the drive through safari and we had the best day together. It was so funny watching Aims get so excited over all the animals coming right up to the windows of our car. We even got to check out the petting zoo and feed the giraffes. We had the best day and felt so safe in our new car while driving around all day!

Since our family is constantly on-the-go, having auto insurance is so necessary for our lifestyle. With Ben and I working full time and Aimery in school, we’re always driving to and from somewhere. In the event of any emergency, I know our family will be protected because of our investment in auto insurance. I’ve been using auto insurance from Erie Insurance since I was 16 years old and couldn’t be happier with their services, so Ben and I have continued with them ever since we’ve been together.

Car insurance from Erie insurance serves 12 states, plus D.C., and has more than 6 million policies in place for auto, home, and business insurance. They have so many aspects of insurance covered and they really do care about the safety of their customers. With all of this time spent in the car this fall, I’m so happy with our decision to upgrade to a newer, safer car as well as sticking with auto insurance from Erie Insurance.
