How to Plan a Spring Picnic

This post is sponsored by Mondelez, but all opinions are my own.

Springtime is finally here after a seemingly endless winter. This warmer weather is making my family so excited to get outside more, especially to go on picnics because they are Aimery’s favorite! Spring picnics are a staple for us, so we’d like to bring you along. Pack your snacks and check out my tips for planning the perfect springtime picnic!

Find your spot

Finding the perfect location for your picnic starts with a little research. Look up local lakes, hiking trails, parks, or any other scenic location near you. Backyard picnics are one of our favorites, so know you don’t always have to travel far to find the perfect spot! Once you find your location, it’s time to get packing!

Get cozy

You’ll want to be comfortable while you’re out, so pack a blanket to sit on and some pillows to be extra cozy. It’s also time to break out the shorts, now that it’s warm, but remember to check the weather beforehand so you don’t get caught in any spring showers! You can also pack some outside games, too, like a frisbee, cornhole, or a volleyball. Don’t forget your Polaroid for fun family photos!

Pack the goodies

This is my favorite step: the food! Snacks are essential to any good spring picnic. We like to bring our favorite snack along with us, Tate's Bake Shop's Blueberry Crisps! They are so delicious that they’re usually gone soon after our picnic starts. Tate's Bake Shop's Blueberry Crisps combine the best ingredients with a passion for baking that keeps us coming back for more. They have the perfect amount of crispiness, while being a delicious dessert treat. Pre-order your own bag of Blueberry Crisps on Walmart.com May 3rd-17th! Also, don’t forget some yummy drinks! We brought along some strawberry lemonade, yum!

Bring the fam

Now that you have your spot, equipment, and goodies, it’s time to grab your family to enjoy the day together. They are the most important part of the whole day! Oh, and don’t forget the pups, too!

What are some of your favorite springtime activities? Let me know all about them down below in the comments! If you’re interested in buying some of Tate's Bake Shop's Blueberry Crisps for your picnic, remember to pre-order them on Walmart.com!
