How to Train Your Dragon 3 Movie Night

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #TrainYourDragonAtWalmart http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

With running two businesses, it can sometimes be hard to balance my work and mom life. Over the last few months, I have been trying to be more aware of how I spend my time and focus on being in the present, especially with my son. I’ve been trying to set aside undivided time with Aimery, so when we heard “How to Train Your Dragon 3” was coming out, I knew that a movie night was in order!

Aimery is obsessed with the first two How to Train Your Dragon movies, and he couldn’t wait to see the latest one when he heard it was coming out! We headed to Walmart to pick up the How to Train Your Dragon 3 Walmart Exclusive DVD Gift Set the day it came out! Not only does it include the DVD, Digital and Blu-ray of the movie but also includes exclusive Funko Pocket Pop! Keychains which Aimery is obsessed with!

During our trip to Walmart, I let Aims pick out other essentials for our movie night. He loves acting out movies after we watch them together, so he picked out a Snotlout & Hookfang toy, his favorite characters from the movie. To top it off, we also picked up the cutest How to Train Your Dragon tee, which features multiple characters from the movie!

I was very impressed with How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World!, while being a children’s movie, it encapsulated lessons about growing up and letting go that I can appreciate as a mom. I have to mention that the introduction of the female dragon, Light Fury, was a great engine of change in the story. Without giving any spoilers away- it brought the trilogy to a visually dazzling and emotionally affecting conclusion.

It was a beautiful and bittersweet finale to a trilogy that our family has loved for years! Walmart was the perfect one-stop-shop for all of our How To Train Your Dragon goodies! I’m so thankful Aims & I got to spend the night bonding over one of our favorite movies together. As he gets older, I cherish these little moments more and more!
