I wanted to knock out my shopping earlier, so when the holidays come, I can focus on being present with my family, rather than stressed. Amazon really is the perfect one-stop-shop, and they've made it easier to deliver smiles this holiday season than ever before! Our family has a tradition where we donate toys to families in our area to stress the importance of giving back during the holidays. With AmazonSmile Charity Lists, you can either search by cause or browse your desired organization’s Charity List. The purchased items are then donated, and delivered, right to the charity at their designated address - so easy!
Another option is shopping through AmazonSmile, by starting your shopping at smile.amazon.com. From there, a portion of the purchase price from eligible Amazon orders is donated to a charitable organization of your choosing! I was able to donate to New Day Orphanage, which has special meaning to me since my brother was in their foster home before he was adopted into our family! If it wasn’t for New Day Orphanage, I wouldn’t have my fun, caring, and supportive brother. How cool to think that we could be helping another child find a home through a simple purchase using AmazonSmile! This year, we bought Aimery an indoor trampoline, marble run set, building blocks, card games, a remote control car, and train tracks. It feels so good knowing that we were able to give back to charity this year while buying Aimery’s gifts!
The third way to give back this holiday with Amazon is through your Alexa-enabled device, right from your home! You can give to any registered charity of your choice just by saying, "Alexa, I want to make a donation" to an Alexa enabled device!
