Over the last year and a half, I have been working hard to rebuild my credit. It’s not easy to talk about bad credit, as it’s embarrassing to share how you got bad credit in the first place. Today, I’m going to honestly share my credit repair story. I hope that through hearing my story and reading my five tips, you will feel less alone and inspired to rebuild your credit score!
In celebration of Cars Day this week on February 11th, we decided to throw a Pixar Cars party for Aimery and all of his friends! You guys know that we’ll take any excuse to party, so throwing a Pixar Cars party seemed like a really fun idea! Aimery has recently become obsessed with watching Cars and totally freaked out over his new Mattel Disney Pixar Cars. I picked up his favorite cars (no other then Lightning McQueen and Mater), along with the rest of the new collection for his friends!
One of my 2019 goals is to make monthly self-care goals. Being a full time single mama and business owner, I have a hard time making time for myself as I almost always put the needs of others above my own. I have found that in order to be a good mom to Aimery, taking time to focus on myself is SO important. Even just washing my face or conditioning my hair can really make a huge difference!
Wow, talk about a crazy year! Aimery started preschool this last fall and we were finally getting into a decent routine when winter break came out of no where, and it was downhill from there! LOL, how many other of you moms feel this way?
It’s normal for most kids to start experiencing anxiety when they are preschool aged. For Aimery, his anxiety often comes out in being overwhelmed when he is over-stimulated, in crowds of people, or has been away from home for too long. Because he can’t fully express his anxiety, it can come out in a bunch of different ways - anger, crying, not eating, and biting his nails. I have really been working with him over the last month to understand when he is feeling anxious, and give him healthy ways to calm his anxiety.
It’s that time of the year again, which means it’s time to grab your friends and family and celebrate the big game! Over the weekend, we had a Big Game party! From nachos to pigs in a blanket and cheese boards to baked beans, our party had it all! The hero of our party was hands down the Game Day Hatfield Nachos. Aimery would have eaten the whole plate if I let him!
I’ve decided to take part in a 30 day yoga challenge to kickstart my health and wellness goals for the new year. Every month in 2019, I’ll be posting about my yoga journey and my progress with Bulldog Yoga. Keep reading to find out how to get a free 30-day yoga membership!
