HEALTHY CHOICE POWER DRESSINGS

No matter what season it is, salad has always been my favorite to eat year-round! I enjoy meal prepping salads for work-day lunches, and also tossing one together for family dinners. We recently swapped our traditional salad dressing for Healthy Choice Power Dressings with 45 calories or less per serving. Both their Greener Goddess and Creamy Ranch dressings are non-dairy and plant based, not to mention they also taste great! Unlike most salad dressings, Healthy Choice Power Dressings are made with powerful ingredients without any artificial ingredients. Greener Goddess is made with real vegetables, tomatillo puree, spinach puree, and sunflower oil!

TRIBE HUMMUS

Our family is a huge lover of hummus, we eat it with veggies as an after school snack just about every day! Did you know that there is now dessert hummus too? Tribe came out with five different dessert hummus flavors including Sea Salt Caramel Hummus and Cake Batter Hummus - YUM! The best part, Dessert Hummus has only 5g of sugar per serving and no artificial preservatives. You can find me hiding in the pantry eating this hummus just about any time of day 🤪 Tribe Hummus is free from all major allergens, making it Non-GMO Project verified, Vegan, Gluten Free, and even kosher. We stocked up on the Dark Chocolate Hummus and the Vanilla Bean Hummus at the grocery store this week!

The Dark Chocolate Hummus is a smooth blend of chickpeas and cocoa. It really is part healthy, part dessert! I paired it with apples, bananas, and graham crackers - but it would also be so good to dip with strawberries! If you are looking for a healthier substitute for Nutella for your kids, it also spreads easily onto toast. Similarly, the Vanilla Bean Hummus is an indulgent dessert snack with vanilla beans and chickpeas. It also has a smooth and creamy texture that is great for dipping with fruit or pretzels! It would also work as a healthier alternative for frosting while baking! Find Tribe near you, here

WONDERMELON JUICES

With the warmer weather quickly approaching, we are finding new ways to keep Aimery hydrated this spring! Although our family doesn’t drink soda, we have found that Aimery is drinking juice that has the same amount of sugar! We recently made the switch to WONDER MELONTM Juices, made with 100% organic, cold pressed juices that are certified fair trade and kosher. The Wondermelon Cucumber Basil is refreshing with a twist, and a drink my son loves! We love packing these juices into his lunchbox at school since they include Watermelon Juice, Lemon Juice, Apple Juice, Cucumber Juice, and Basil. It’s all natural, organic, and cold pressed with only 80 calories a bottle. These juices contain lots of nutrients, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. We love how excellent it is for hydration!

MADEGOOD BARS

We found MadeGood Bars earlier this year and have gotten into the habit of putting one in Aimery’s lunchbox each day during the week. MadeGood offers a wide range of nutritious snacks in a variety of flavors - all made with real fruit, nutrients from veggies, whole grains, free from all 8 allergens and are safe for school. We love the Apple Cinnamon and Sweet & Salty Granola Bars for at school and on the go! These bars are gluten free, vegan, and have one serving of veggies each! With only 90 calories and 6 grams of sugar, I feel comfortable sending these along with Aimery for school! The Apple Cinnamon Granola Bars contain whole grains that are an essential part of a healthy diet. These bars contain oat bran, believed to “bad cholesterol” and are also slow to digest, keeping Aimery feel fuller longer. You can buy MadeGood Bars in bulk online through Amazon, Instacart, and Walmart, and can also pick them up at Target, Whole Foods, CVS, Kroger and more!
