One of our favorite things to do in the summer is road trip as a family. We love seeing new places and now that Aimery is getting older, we feel more comfortable driving 2+ hours away! We recently took a road trip to visit family friends in Maryland! Luckily, my friends have a pool where we were able to hangout during the heatwave last week. No matter where we go, near and far, we always make sure to pack our Road Trip essentials! Keep reading for 5 of our road trip essentials!
CLASSIC COMFORT TEES
One of Ben’s Road trip essentials are his Hanes Tees! He loves that they’re made of soft fabric and they provide him with Classic Comfort. Perfect for staying comfortable while spending hours in the car, since he does all the driving! The Tees include Xtemp Temperature Control, which keeps him cool while we’re outside hanging by the pool! And he looks great in them too 😉
CHLORINE REMOVAL SHAMPOO
Another essential we took with us on our visit was UltraSwim Chlorine Removal Shampoo. This is one of my personal favorites! One of my pet peeves is when my hair smells like chlorine after a long day in the pool. This removal shampoo is also perfect for all of us with our blonde hair! It removes chlorine and other chemical buildup better than ordinary shampoos, and the moisturizing formula is safe to use after every swim.
FIRST AID KIT
Of course, whenever we go on a road trip I make sure to have a first aid kit! I love using Medipro because it’s so easy to pack, and provides first aid at your fingertips. The Medipod comes with 100 items to keep you prepared for your basic first aid needs, it’s amazing! The pods are neatly organized and you can separate them so you can take however much or however little with you! Use code babble2019 for 25% off from now until 12/31/19 here.
Our last must-haves are flashlights! On evenings when we were going for a night swim or family hikes at dusk, having the Solitaire LED Flashlight by Maglite came in handy. It’s small enough that I can slip it into the backpack, yet its beam throw is 50 yards. That's half of a football field! The flashlight will run nonstop for almost 2 hours on just 1 AAA battery which is affordable and reliable! Another Maglite product we brought along is the Mini Maglite® Pro LED Flashlight. It’s pocket sized so it’s very convenient for any sized adventure. Especially because it illuminates the dark for almost 2 football fields.
We had such a great trip to Maryland and getting to spend quality time with family made the trip all worth it! Having our go-to Road trip essentials make me feel well prepared and stress free! What are your favorite Road trip essentials? Let me know in the comments below!
