How to Build a Summer Charcuterie Board

When it comes to those warm summer nights after the kids fall asleep and Ben & I don’t feel like cooking, we always reach for a charcuterie board. Nothing is better than sharing a bottle of wine and snacking on a board we made together! Plus, I always keep the ingredients on hand because they’re so easy to whip together for any event, family get-together, or pool party. Break out your wine glasses because tonight, you’re joining us for a charcuterie board dinner!

I’ve been making charcuterie boards seasonally for years, so I have really been looking forward to creating this summer board with you all! When prepping my boards, I always keep the rule of 3s in mind. Working in threes not only makes it easier when you are grocery shopping, but also while assembling. Pick up three servings of cheese, meat, and fruit! I also plan on three servings of extras: for this board I’m using nuts, olives, and dried fruit. Consider putting crackers on the board last to fill up the empty spaces. It’s an easy way to finish the board nicely! Sharing everything I put on this board below!

  • Strawberries

  • Blueberries

  • Raspberries

  • Grapes

  • Dried apricot slices
