Can you believe we’re almost halfway through summer? With such a busy schedule it can often be hard to find time to get outside and enjoy my favorite season while it lasts! I recently planned an outdoor picnic for my best friend and I so we could spend the day together and catch up. We gossiped over the cutest pineapple bowls - and they taste amazing too!

Years ago I could have never enjoyed this meal, seeing as pineapple and fried rice were two huge triggers for my digestive issues. I recently discovered Boiron® products & thought they would be worth a try, after battling these issues for years. My favorite products from Bioron® include Acidil® and Gasalia® which are both widely available in natural product chains. I normally just pick up these products from Walmart! Giveaway at the end of this post!

Before Acidil®, although pineapple had always been my favorite fruit, it seemed to worsen my acid reflux every time I ate it. I had similar issues with fried rice & teriyaki sauce which Gasalia® has been a lifesaver for! Boiron’s® homeopathic medicines are a better choice for digestive issues. Consumers understand links between stress, poor diet, gastric upset and Boiron® helps you feel better sooner so you can focus on what’s most important! Boiron® works quickly so you can get back to having fun!

I love Boiron® products because they are all homeopathic medicines which mean they work with the body to help restore balance and relieve symptoms. These medicines have a “gentle action” on the body and I feel safe using them and even offering them to friends and family. These products are the perfect fix for heartburn, bloating, upset stomach, pain, discomfort, and pressure just to name a few*. It’s because of these products that I can enjoy my favorite foods again. Keep reading for my favorite recipe and a giveaway!!

Chicken Teriyaki Pineapple Bowl

  • Ripe pineapple

  • 4 cups cooked rice

  • 2 Chicken Breasts

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 cups pineapple, chopped

  • Your favorite teriyaki sauce

  1. Slice pineapples in half (lengthwise) and carve out the pineapple flesh. The best way to do this is to run a sharp knife around the edge of the shell and then a few cuts in the middle of the flesh, just make sure to leave enough room for the shell to stay intact! Next, scoop out large chunks of the pineapple flesh.

  2. Take 2 cups of the pineapple flesh and cut into small bite-sized pieces, set aside.

  3. Add oil to a large skillet on medium high heat. Add chicken and cook until chicken is golden brown.

  4. Reduce heat to medium. Pour in your favorite teriyaki sauce and toss chicken until sauce is heated. Stir in pineapple chunks.

  5. Stir in rice and divide teriyaki chicken evenly between the two bowls. We did half white rice, half pineapple teriyaki!
