New Year, New Self-Reflections

As 2021 has come to a close, I have been taking some time to reflect on the past year (the good & the bad), as well as my aspirations for 2022. Taking the time to sit back and self-reflect has been so beneficial to my mental health, so I wanted to share the questions I have been using! These are also great for couples to answer together so the start of a new season can go smoothly. Grab your favorite cup of coffee, get in some comfy clothes, and pick a few of these questions to answer as we take on the new year!

  • What is going to be my main energy focus in 2022?

  • What is one this I want to learn this year?

  • Do I need to spend more time resting this year?

  • What is one word I hope describes this new year?

  • Do I have goals to be a better person than I was last year?

  • What are you leaving in 2021 so it does not burden you in 2022?

  • What challenged me the most last year? Will this continue to challenge me this year?

  • What is something that I’ve learned about myself last year?

  • What part of myself do I hope to delve deeper into this year?

  • What is one habit I can change in the new year?

  • Do I need to set new/better boundaries this year?

  • How can I better take care of myself this year?

  • Who was my biggest supporter this past year?

  • What is something I did not get to do last year that I want to make a priority this year?

  • Is there any toxicity in my life that should be removed, even if it’s tough?

  • This time next year, what emotion do I want to feel?

  • Did I feel any new emotions last year?

  • If I have more free time this year, how should I spend it?

I have some big plans for this year! Reaching them will not be easy, by any means, but I am so excited to see what this year has to bring. What are you looking forward to most this year? Let me know down below in the comments! ♡
